"A" vs "The" vs "it" vs "one" vs "any"

Hi there, In the following example, should I use a, any, the, it, or one?
  1. Yesterday my friend told me someone had parked a truck in our playground but when I reached there I did not see a truck/it/any trucks/the truck/one.

All of your options are good, though 'any truck' is better than 'any trucks'.

'when I got there' is better than 'when I reached there' in everyday conversation.

Of the 5 choices, "any trucks" is the best choice here . "A truck," "it," and "one" are too vague (even though the first part of the sentence mentions "a truck"). "The truck" is too specific - you're looking for "a truck," not some specific truck.
