A vs the business owner

Hi.

I am talking about the structure of a business.

Let's consider a typical business.
1. There is business owner and then there are clients.
2. There is the business owner and then there are the clients.

What's the implication of a definite vs indefinite article?

1. "There's a business owner" - there happens to be a business owner.
2. "There's the business owner" - more emphatic. We know that the owner is there and it's that owner we're talking about.

I can use either correctly, right? (Same with clients).

Anonymous What's the implication of a definite vs indefinite article? There is no implication in the context you describe. They are merely alternative ways to approach the narrative.
