A vs One

A / One person can receive baptism only once in his lifetime.

Should I use "A" or "One"?

Each / Every person can receive baptism only once in his lifetime.

I don't think "Every" could be used. However, does "Each" work?

You should say "a". One sounds a little awkward. You should not use "each" because everyone isn't a Christian.

The simplest and most natural is the indefinite article.

A person..... is correct. But if you chose "one ", there is no need to have "person: to follow, i.e. One can only .....
