I can tell you that the sales lady says 'Have a good one!', which means 'Have a nice day!', but the speaker did not understand what she meant because it is an Americanism.

'Have a good one', to which he replied... "I'm gone"? I mean, what is the funny thing?

Lady: Have a good one!

Richard: I haven't got one.

It is funny because he doesn't know the idiomatic phrase (which I have already explained above), so he doesn't know what 'one' refers to, but he supposes that whatever 'one' is, he doesn't have it, good or bad.
