A very well-reviewed restaurant.

My friend owns a very well-reviewed restaurant.

Is 'well-reviewed' the correct term if I'm talking about a restaurant that food critics have liked and reviewed(?) well?

I prefer "highly recommended".

If you really want the "reviewed" part, then "enthusiastically reviewed" is OK.

"well reviewed" suggests, to me at least, a large number of reviews, not necessarily all positive.
