A Very Long Engagement
Just finished watching the movie. Beautifully shot, intricate plots. I only wish they explained the gal's obsession with her fiance a little more. That would have made the movie more compelling.
I was surprised to see Jodie Foster in that movie. Any French speakers out there? How would you rate her French? It sounds "native" to me, but I don't speak the language.

- At first I didn't realize it was her, and all I could tell was that the face and look and demeanour were familiar !
- I must admit I don't recall much of her performance, but I do remember she didn't have any accent at all or so subtle that it was barely noticeable she wasn't actually french !
