Hi,

1.Mountaineering is a type of sports which requires bravery.
2.Mountaineering is a type of sports which require bravery.
3.Mountaineering is a type of sport which requires bravery.

Which of the above is grammatically correct?

"type" is singular and I'd normally expect "sport" to be singular too. I suppose there are some exceptions to this rule, for example I'd probably say "types of food" rather than "types of foods" (not that there's anything wrong with it grammar-wise).
