"a" twelve dollars.

hi,

I found a sentence like this:

My daily budget was a quickly spent twelve dollars.

This is because, I guess, the writer is thinking "this twelve dollars" is a package.Would you give me some similar examples?

Thank you,

m

Yes, and the speaker has reclassified the amount with a modifier ('quickly spent'), distinguishing it from 'a carefully saved $12', 'an easily lost $12', etc.
