A trick

Please help me to correct them, thanks!

John was a mischivous boy. He likes to play pranks on hie friends. One day, it was muggy. John felt bored ,so he decided to play tricks on people. He put a pail of water on top of the door in the class / classroom.

After recess, he waited for his classmates to walk into the classroom. Hearing the sound of footsteps coming from the outside, he was grew excited to see who was the lamb duck. Unluckily, Mr tan, his English teacher, arrived and opened the door.

When Mr Tan opened the door, the water from the pail poured out. / The water fell on the teacher. / The water splashed out from the pail onto Mr Tan. He was all over wet. He was irate / furious at him. John was fearful at that moment. He knew he had done a big mess. Mr Tan severely scolded him and punished him to clean the floor. His friends laughed at him for his foolishness.
