A translation

Hello,

Could you please check my translation?

'He didn’t have anyone, especially the woman. The conversation that his neighbor heard was a monologue. He was talking to the picture of the woman.’

‘Do you know her, Annr?’

‘Yes, I do or maybe I don’t?’

‘What do you mean, maybe you don’t?’

‘The girl we are talking about got lost, disappeared a long time ago. But her paintings are still here and Emmy was talking to one of them.’

‘So when did she disappear?’ asked the detective.

‘Many many years ago, in the seventeenth century.’

Thanks

Hello,

This sentence 'He didn't have anyone with him' was supposed to mean he didn't have anyone, he was a lonely man. He didn't have even parents. I was not sure I conveyed this idea correctly so I decided to reask.

Thanks
