A TOEIC Speaking Test Question

I have to read an article before answering questions. One of them is about an advertisement from a university who is recruiting students for their two programs. However, I have been bothered understanding one sentence below:

... The program are structured as follows:
* Six start dates per year- two per semester; spring, summer and fall
* Eight to nine, three-credit seven-week seminars and one-six-cre

The last sentence is hard to understand. Does "Eight to nine" mean the time? And how about six-cre? I have no idea on that either. Please help. Emotion: thinking

Now I guess 8-9 functions as a adjective to indicate the number of the seminars. And for sic-cre... I think you are right. It could have been cut off for six-credit something...
