a to-do-list in point form?

Can you please tell me if a to-do list can be in point form?

Things to Do:

Send a letter to a friend I met yesterday.

Pick up from Family Store gift for a friend I met two days ago .

Put some gas in my car on the way home.

Can I omit all articles and make like this?

If you are writing your own 'to-do' list it doesn't matter how you phrase things as long as you understand it. ) My to -do list usually looks something like Call Fred (meaning I need to phone him) wedding stuff E (meaning I need to buy the card and gift for my friend Emily's wedding, that I am going to this weekend). dry cleaning (meaning go and pick up the stuff from the dry cleaning shop) Check T 7th (check if my boyfriend is available to go and visit my parents on the 7th)

Thank you. I think that is what a person would do normally. Let us change the context and say we are writing for a group of people and say that we are writing do warn them what not to do; so this list will be a not-to-do list. Can you make the following list in point form by eliminating articles and others not considered essential?

Use action verbs -

Walk

These lists (such as found in public buildings) are normally phrased in this way:

Please do not:

Wear slippers on these premises

Drop chewing gum on the street.

chew gum while talking to the supervisor

Make rude comments or gestures

Use a cellular phone in meetings.

Go home without checking out your time card
