A territory

Hi,

Can I say:

"We are left without a territory that is defensible and with adequate resources." ?

Or must I say "a piece of territory"?

Thank you.

The sentence is fine the way it is. Although wolves and blackbirds also defend their territories, I cannot recall hearing of 'a piece of territory'.

What about:

"We are left without a territory with adequate resources that is defensible."

Or

"We are left without a territory that is defensible with adequate resources."?

Thank you.

"We are left without a territory with adequate resources that is defensible."
OK. Better than your original.

"We are left without a territory that is defensible with adequate resources."
Suggests that the resources are required in order to make the territory defensible.
