A terrible nightmare

Please help me to correct the mistakes.Thanks.

Peter and his family are completely movies addicts. One Sunday night, Peter and his family watched a horror movie, The Ampire' on a comfortable sofa after dinner time. Actually, he was a timid boy, but he pretended (that) not scared at all in front of them. He laughed hearthily after watching it.

That night, he could not sleep tightly. He kept thinking of the ghost appeared on TV / in the movie just now. He started to be frightened and covered his blanket over his head. He was afraid of having a nightmare / He was scared to have a nightmare.

At the end, he ran to his brother's room and decided to sleep with him. Soon, he felt safe and slept in comfort without any terrible / horrible dreams throughout the night. From that night onwards, he stopped watching horror movies at all. His family teased him as timid as a mouse.
