In one test I read- a system this small can sound///

Actually, the question is, is it possible to say – sth + this/that + adj???
For example, I that nice can date him easily?

Your sample sentence is no good-- I don't even know what you are trying to say with it-- but the original ( – sth + this/that + adj ) is a common structure: I could date a girl that nice quite easily . I didn't know that a car this fast could be built. etc.

etc.
