I just want to add that "a suite" by itself sounds like a suite of rooms, such as at a hotel.

A suite of furniture, if you are not aware of this, is a collection of pieces that work together. A bedroom suite may have a bed frame, a dresser or two, two side tables, and (depending on the size of the room) maybe even a jewelry cabinet or something like that. A living room suite may have a co

Yes - although I nearly didn't see the end table.

I guess it's called a love seat because it's designed for two people to sit in. Most couches/sofas have three cushions, and a love seat will usually have only two. EDIT: This should have read "sit on" not "in." Sorry for any confusion.

A sofa is the same as a couch and can seat two, three or four people.

I would say you generally sit ON a couch or love seat. That was a typo. I'll go make a note.

If it's a very deep couch, you can feel like you're sitting IN it.
