There are about a hundred ways to do this, but here's one.

A is sitting at the desk right in front of the teacher, next to the wall.
E is sitting in the next-to-last row, in the middle seat of the middle desk.
H is sitting in the next-to-last row, in the middle seat of the door-side desk.

1. A is sitting at the first desk in the left row. You need to establish that you mean 'left when looking at the picture'. And not eg to the teacher's left.

2. A is sitting at the front desk in the first row. It's not clear what you mean by 'the first'.

This type of description is so tongue-twistingly difficult that in the US, teachers completely avoid it and just make up a seating chart instead, where the students are assigned a seat and must alway sit there.

When I was in high school in England, the teachers didn't care where we sat.
But most people usually sat in the place they initially picked.

1. A is sitting at the first desk in the first row. -- True, but it doesn't give the position.

2. A is sitting at the first desk in the left row. -- From whose point of view? Not the teacher's in this case.

The rest of them suffer from the same problems.
