A student/mark

1. Is this sentence correct:



"My niece is an A student in Maths/English, etc."



Note: By this, I mena that she usually gets an A mark in Maths/English, etc.




2. By the way, and is it correct to say "she gets an A mark" (since someone who isn't familiar with the same assessment system might require more information to understand what I'm trying to say.)

"My niece is an A student in Maths/English, etc." When I read this, it sound to me like one of her subjects is called Maths//English. I suggest this.

eg My niece is an A student in all of her subjects.

eg My niece is an A student in Maths, English, and all of her other subjects.
