A Strange To-do List!

0 One sunny Californian morning, 02br
00After a hot cup of black Folgers coffee 02br
00I felt that I had to do something 02br
00With my life which was quite boring. 02br
00I took out a sheet of paper 02br
00And wrote down a to-do list 02br
00And stuck on to the second-hand 02br
00Refrigerator. I looked it up and 02br
00Down till my eyes became weary. 02br

00“Love your neighbour as thyself” 02br
00Was the first on the list. I waited 02br
00For the pretty girl next door to 02br
00Step out and so I could love her. 02br
00Instead I saw a beautiful red sandal 02br
00Maybe bought from ’payless shoes’ 02br
00Touched my cheek so hard that 02br
00The colour of the sandal transferred 02br
00To my lovely smooth and pink face. 02br
00And all I had said was, “I love you”. 02br

00“Do onto others what you want to 02br
00Be done onto you.” was the second. 02br
00I had always wondered how it would be 02br
00To kiss those rosy lips of the girl 02br
00In the counter of the ‘Wal-Mart’ 02br
00Who wore her name ‘rosy’ on her bosom. 02br
00I asked her out to tea at my favourite 02br
00Thai restaurant . Or was it Chinese? 02br
00I don’t seem to remember it now. 02br
00For when I had kissed her to be 02br
00Kissed in return, my memory went 02br
00Blank, with the blow of karate that 02br
00I got from her. 02br

00 “Love the girl, love her dog” 02br
00was sure going to work ,I thought. 02br
00When I found the red bricked 02br
00Palatial house of the girl I had crush on, 02br
00I searched for a dog. And I found the huge 02br
00Black dog, believe me, it did scare me. But, 02br
00Love was strong and I had to prove it. 02br
00I bend down , patted gently on the back of 02br
00The dog and tried to plant a kiss on its huge 02br
00Forehead, trembling a little. My scream was 02br
00Loud and long till I reached the general county 02br
00Hospital and was admitted in urgent care. 02br

00“The dog bit off my nose” was all I wrote 02br
00On a post-it pink slip and stuck with the magnet 02br
00Of Santa Claus on every piece of furniture 02br
00And wall , after I tore the to-do list forever. 0-
