A strange problem in my communication

Hi there,

I ve one strange problem in communicating in english. when ever I talk to myself, I speak very fluently without any mistakes.But when I talk to others I make so many mistakes.I really dont know what the reason could be.One of my friends told me that it could be because of fear of making mistakes or low selfesteem.I expect a good reply from you.

When we talk to ourselves, our brain interprets what we say though the same language system that we use as we speak. This makes us unaware of any "mistakes".

For example(taking an extreme case for illustration): I say to myself:

I be gone tomorrow skul stor.

When I say it to myself it makes perfect sense, because my brain thinks:

me (next day) (get food) (after) (class)

Of course, my friends are not using my brain to interpret this speech. They are using their own brains, and their brains translate differently than mine.
The only way people can communicate clearly is to have all the brains use the same translation rules. So that is why we have standard grammar and vocabulary.

So for people who know "standard English" , I must use "standard" language to communicate with them. I have to say something like:

Tomorrow I will be going to school and then to the store.

By the way, the scientific study of how peoples' brains translate and process language is called "linguistics"

[edit] Of course, if when you speak you KNOW you are making mistakes, then some other emotional process is interfering.
