Is this sentence correct?

What about saying : “one of the ways you can look to see if a quarterback...” or “one of the ways you can tell if a quarterback...”?

thank you

The word "project" is required here. This is the term that is used when talking about predicting the future performance of a player. The given sentence is wordy, but that's how a sportscaster would talk about this topic.
