Can you provide some examples? I'm not sure how you are "pronouncing" the letters as you have them here because the letter A and the letter E can each have more than one pronunciation.

He'll tell you if you've done it right. If not, repeat the process until you show improvement. Instead of single sounds it might be better to use whole words in this kind of practice.
