No not 'rifle' but I guess something like the bullet is rocheting/racqueting inside the muzzle of the rifle or something.

As a bullet exits the barrel of a gun, it is revolving at a very high rate of speed.

Do you think that's it, guys?

Errrmmmm.. Yeah its good but how do I qualify the revolving of the bullet inside the barrel?? Revolving is not a strong word all I want is to emphasize on the bullet while it revolves inside the barrel like it spirals out of the barrel..

Hi,

Perhaps it spins ?

Errmmm.. Spin can also mean that the bullet/pellet spins on its own axis but does not spiral out while it spins..

The term ballistics refers to the science of the travel of a projectile in fligh.

Does this get you any closer to the term you're looking for?

Forensic text books go into significant detail about how a bullet exits the barrel of a gun, but they don't seem to have one single term for the process. I wish I could be of more help.

Yeah it did get me closer and it appears that i will have to intensify the ballistics of the bullet in a short crisp sentence.. Thanks JohnParis you helped..
