A single furniture?

Hello there!
I've got a problem concerning furniture. Of course it's an uncountable noun (this furniture is nice) but can we say:
a single furniture,
or should we do away with the "a" (single furniture)? Probably the best option would be A single piece of furniture but what about the above? Thanks in advance!
