A bridge made of stone is stronger than ( )of wood.

Which one is correct? (my choice is c)

"a bridge" is an indefinite expression. ["the bridge" would be definite.]
You can't use the definite expression "the one" to pronomialize an indefinite one. ["one" (without "the") is an indefinite expression.]
