A simple question

I wish to know which sentence is the most grammatically correct.

"If this is situation is not resolved with the payment of this amount, a total of £2250 within four weeks from 10th of January 2008; we will have no choice but to take legal action against you."

or

"If this is situation is not resolved with the payment of this amount, a total of £2250, within four weeks from 10th of January 2008; we will have no choice but to take legal action against you."

Thankyou

Hello Anon,

Neither sounds quite right to me. Perhaps:

"If this situation is not resolved by the payment of a total of £2250 within four weeks of 10 January 2008, we will have no choice but to take legal action against you."

Best wishes,

MrP
