A Simple Poem

Question

I never wore shoes, because I liked the feel of the Earth between my toes. I never conformed to societal "norms" like my friends, preferring the road less traveled.
I never bought material goods, I would rather have enlightenment. I never listened to Howard Stern, because he is rude and coarse and vulgar.

Now I am an O L D man.
Walking in the dirt gave me a debilitating food infection. My friends enjoy wealth, whilst I suffer in poverty. Enlightenment led to depression,
and Howard Stern saved the world.
