A short text to check for obvious mistakes.

Hey. I was assigned to describe a footbridge I have designed. The problem is I am not an English native and found it a bit difficult to describe it using some scientific language... Could anybody take a look, read what I've written to check if there are any obvious mistakes? Maybe change something so that it sounds better in English?
Thanks in advance, I would be really grateful.

"The construction has been designed to become a footbridge. The structure consists of two basic elements: two arch-shaped pipe section beams deflected from the vertical in combination with a suspended walkway.
The cross-sections were specially chosen to produce an effect of fluency. The footbridge is suspended using steel rods that provide the impression of lightness.
The surfaces of both arches are outwardly deflected. The arch girders are made of pipe sections with an outer surface diameter of 80 centimeters."
