Is this dialogue natural English? Any suggestions are welcome.
A - So how would you define a short story?
B- Well, defining is unwieldy, but to me, a short story is something that can be finished in one sitting. It does not have a proper structure and other details like a novel and sometimes a lot is left to the understanding of the reader.
A - That means?
B- I mean because it is a short story, the details are fairly restricted in most cases and the reader is expected to speculate more.

The only parts that stand out to me are "defining is unwieldy" and "the details are fairly restricted".
"unwieldy" and "restricted" seem to be slightly wrong word choices, but they pass as 'natural enough'. Native speakers make wrong word choices too, so these only make the conversatio
