A short essay - a brief correction of mistakes, please!

Friendships have become more important than family friendships

According to the up-to-date surveys conducted by a team of experts, the results seem to indisputable. It has been thus discovered, so it would be wrong to dispute the claim, that increasing number of young people turn to friends first for advice. Besides this, it is also generally believed that the youth prefer to break up with parents in the earliest time possible, not to mention their dogged determination to make their own decisions. In contrast to the points mentioned above, it would be unreasonable to state that family relationships are less important than friendships.

Let me begin by saying that the first and arguably the most important point is reliability. If we are in desperate need of help or a counsel, then we stand a good chance of being offered a hand by our family members since sometimes it may happen that our friends would turn their backs on us the moment we demand most their help.

A further point is that friendships are rather short-lived compared to the family, long-lasting relationships which are one of the few things we can truly rely upon in this unstable world. There can be no doubt that unless we are in touch with the friends quite frequently, the friedship is highly likely to be restricted to emails or text messages which lack depth and is then prone to be destroyed. And yet, people still disregard that.

Finally, living alone appears to be very inviting and appealing, not only for those who are self-reliant, but also for the sort of people who are fond of complete freedom and independecy. It is, nonetheless, very demanding from a financial point of view to run a the whole house. Therefore, it is not worthwhile in the end.

In conclusion, whilst a good many of people feel that friends are indispensible part of their lives, which is undoubtedly true, they should not ignore the fact that the family should always be their first priority no matter what other people say.
