A serious and / or personal thing

It is not a serious and personal thing. VS. It is not a serious or personal thing.

Which conjunction is correct between 'serious' and 'personal'?

I think that there is no relation between the two words so 'or' is correct.

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual.

Hans51 I think that there is no relation between the two words so 'or' is correct. Your reasoning is wrong. It's 'or' because of the negation.
