A sentence needs grammatical correction

Hello teachers!

I have difficulty writing learning objectives in a lesson plan.

The sentence is

Students will be able to obtain more than 90% of the right answers on the formative test.

Please correct the sentence to have better structure and clear meaning.

I don't understand "formative test". The sentence doesn't appear to be a learning objective to me. Except for a few modifications, it just says that the objective is for the students to pass a test.

The sentence doesn't appear to be a learning objective to me. Except for a few modifications, it just says that the objective is for the students to pass a test. That objective is so general that you can use it for every lesson you teach. If I were you, I would make the objective more specific to the contents of the lesson.

Hi,

Maybe a formal exam? I think she meant to say "formal". Now that I'm thinking of this, it could be a final exam, too.
