A sentence meaning

Hello
English language is my second language so sometimes i have difficulties in translation, especially when It comes to cultural refrences. will you please be kind to explain the meaning of the text below for me?
Right-handed people should place the calculator on the right side of their desk. Ditto the above for southpaws, the proud but under-represented!

I really dont undrestand the Bold part. Please help me undrestanding the meaning of that part.

There are fewer (= underrepresented) southpaws (= left-handed people), but many southpaws are proud of being such. (This pride is not really critical to the text-- it is just a jocular aside-- but it indicates that most left-handers do not like to be forced to use things in a right-handed manner.)
