A sentence from a cover letter... (Help!)

Hello all, I'm having a little trouble with a particular sentence from a cover letter I wrote for a research assistant job...

Would it go:

Throughout my education, I’ve have a great deal of success researching and focusing information on many different topics for use in countless reports and presentations

or

Throughout my education, I’ve have a great deal of success researching and focusing information from many different topics for use in countless reports and presentations

And in this context, is the word "topics" the better choice, or "subjects"?

Thanks!

Hi Raubt, Welcome to the Forum. Would it go: Throughout my education, I’ve have a great deal of success researching and focusing information on many different topics for use in countless reports and presentations I'd say 'on', not 'from'. You might also consider saying something like 'analyzing' rather than 'focusing'.

Also, it should read "I've had" rather than "I've have." It may have just been a typo though.
