My daughter is studying passive voice at school. She needs to include more passive voiced writing in her written work (for positive assessment outcomes) . Would it be a safe bet if I suggested to her that she starts some sentences with positional prepositions to accommodate this need? e.g.. On the table she quietly stood.
I'm not really sure how the 'by zombies' rule that is use in classroom teaching applies to this type of sentence structure. I find it hard to identify passive active sentences myself. :-/
