A reward I fully indulged myself

"I didn't have an impulse, or even a desire, for one of those chocolate double-fudge sweets! I didn't even want to buy a single doughnut. The ones with the chocolate on top were a reward I fully indulged myself with, for, say, vacuumingthe floor, or sorting out my quickly accumulating piles of stuff."

Would you please explain the part"a reward I indulged myself with". I find the use of indulge confusing here.

Thanks
