A relative

Could you help me by giving your opinions? Actually, this issue is really torturing me because I got two apparently contradictory answers from different voluntary teachers. Although I deeply appreciate all of their helps, I can't tell which one is right. So, could you tell me your opinions? Between the following sentences, which one do you think should be right and why? Thank you in advance.

1. That is the place (that) I met him two years ago.
2. That is the place (that) I met him in two years ago.

lucas21cActually, this issue is really torturing me because I got two apparently contradictory answers from different voluntary teachers.
What was the contradiction? Perhaps you didn't interpret one of them correctly, or the sentence was slightly different.

CJ and I have given you exactly the same answer for your two sentences.

I had got two contradictory answers to the questions about the relative before I posted this question. One of them is "That is the place (that) I met him two years ago", and the other is "That is the place (that) I met him in two years ago." So, I wanted to confirm which one is right and why.

CJ and AS have both answered this question, with explanations. Read their posts.

I had got two contradictory answers before I posted this questions on February 21st. It means the reason why I posted this thread happened before CJ and AS answered my original question. In this thread, I never said their answers are contradictory to each other. Please look at the sequence of the events.
