a relationship/ relationship

I googled with the word good relationship.
Many of the sentences searched included "a" good relationship when there's just a few sentences including without an article "a."

Is there any difference between no article and article in front of "good relationship?"

1. Secret garden made Mary a bright, happy child and taught her the importance of good relationship.
2. Secret garden made Mary a bright, happy child and taught her the importance of a good relationship.

Okay. It's very difficult to understand when the word relationship is used as an uncountable noun. Is it difficult to explain with an example?

I suspect that's because it's hardly ever used as an uncountable noun.

It might occur without a determiner in an expression like "that kind of relationship", but that's probably more because of the tendency of prepositions to suppress articles.
