If it's about a singer or a group, I guess they made a "tour", that is they gave concerts in many cities, and the shows have been recorded, so you can see the tour on DVD...

(But maybe my explanation is too simple...)

The history museum is our last stop today. We still have two hours here. Recorded tours are at available at the front desk for a small fee.

AH, OK, I see, now! It means that for a small amount of money you can get a cassette+reader (a kind of walkman I reckon). You switch it on when you begin your visit of the museum, and you can hear all the explanations you need about all the things exhibited.

(It's always easier with the context!)
