A receipt or Receipt ?

Please look at this question.
"If any of our products do not meet with your complete satisfaction, you can claim a full refund or replacement up to 30 days after ____ of the product.
(A)receive (B) received (C) had received (D) receipt

The correct answer is (D) receipt. What I want to know is not for it.

"After receipt of the product."

Why is there no "article" in front of "receipt" ? Can't we count receipts ? I think they have given me a receipt after buying something.
Could someone explain to me why it doesn't need "article"? Thanks in advance.
