A quote from Othello

The Moor is of a free and open nature,
That thinks men honest that but seem to be so,
And will as tenderly be led by th’ nose,
As asses are.
(Iago, in Othello, Act 1 Scene 3)

Hi, would anyone intrepret the lines above, especially the lines in blue?

Is Moor the name of a person?

Does the quote mean " The Moor is an honest guy with free and open nature, and he thinks other people have the same nature as his, however honest people would be manipulated and led by your nose as foolish asses are.

Thanks!
