A quote

Here's a quote from a literary person:

"By the power of the truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe."

I understand the sentence, but what is so special with it?

And, how could anyone by such a means conquer the universe?

It's perhaps, the other way around. That is, politicians by telling as many lies as they can, are conquering the whole world.

KhoshtipMan quote from a literary person: Nah. It's from a movie based on a fictional book about a future dystopian state in England. Authors of this genre of fiction can make up all kinds of "pithy" sayings which don't stand up under careful scrutiny.
