A Quotation

Hi,
Here is a quote by George Bernard Shaw and I need clarification over its meaning.
"We have no more right to consume happiness without producing it than to consume wealth without producing it."

Thank you in advance,

Iman

The whole thing! What does it mean?
This is what I got from it: We have to make others happy as we are made happy, just like making money in which we make money and then spend that money so others earn it!
