A quiz with answers

Hello,

I composed a vocabulary quiz. Do you agree with the suggested answers. There should be only one correct answer for each question. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your comments! It seems to me that even native speakers do not always agree on the usage of English. For example the first question was a modified version from an exercise book:

During winter the shelters are full of people of no fixed....

A.residence B. abode C.home D.domicile

I think the phrase required here is a fixed phrase, i.e. an idiom

Just let me make it clear: 'abode' of the phrase 'no fixed abode' is the best answer; it is just not the only possible one-- bright students could argue for any of the others without your being able to supply any rebuttal except " 'abode' is the usual".
