Grammar

A quick question. Sentence Review.

If I were saying;

'Crunch, crunch, crunch, went the snow as I ploughed through it in my walking boots.'

Would it be correct having the comma after the 3rd 'crunch'?
Also would you put a comma after 'snow' as well?

Thanks
Ryan
