A quick question please.

Hey everyone, just a quick question please. Sorry if it seems obvious

---
Two people had just left Friday's meeting.

One said to the other: "What do you think?"
The other replied: "It wasn't as enjoyable as last weeks meetings."
---

Does this sentence actually mean (I think it does):

---
Two people had just left Friday's meeting.

One said to the other: "What do you think [of Friday's meeting]?"
The other replied: "It [Friday's meeting] wasn't as enjoyable as last weeks meetings."
---

Is there anyway the original sentence could mean the following or is this an incorrect interpretation?:

???
Two people had just left Friday's meeting.

One said to the other: "What do you think [of last weeks meetings]?"
The other replied: "It [Friday's meeting] wasn't as enjoyable as last weeks meetings."
???

I assume it is incorrect for the following reasons, would anyone agree?:

1) As the two people had just left 'Friday's meeting' it is much more likely the "What do you think" means "What do you think [of Friday's meeting]" referring to what they have just done.

2) Am I correct in saying the 'It' in the answer sentence must always refer to the question subject? For example this should be correct:

"What do you think [of Friday's meeting]?"
The other replied: "It [Friday's meeting] wasn't as..."

Therefore the sentence interpretation surrounded by question marks (above) could not be correct as the 'It' referrs to 'Friday's meeting' ("It [Friday's meeting] wasn't...") and the subject of the question sentence is 'last weeks meetings' ("What do you think [of last weeks meetings]?").

Thanks guy's and thank you very much for your help on my previous posts.

Thank you Clive, once again for your help.

I see what you mean, the 'What do you think?' is not always clear as to what the speaker is refering to.
