A question question.

I have just written the question, "The AC Motor converts electrical energy into what?"

A colleague maintains that I should have written, "What does the AC Motor convert electrical energy into?"

I am in the habit of ending questions this way (....for what? ......for how long? ....into what? etc) but I haven't seen any hard and fast rules on the subject.

Could someone clarify this for me?

Well, here is my take for your question.

What type of energy do we get when electrical energy is connected to an AC motor?
