A question on the pronunciation of "propensity"

A dictionary shows the pronunciation of "propensity" is pr?'pens?ti. However, it sounds like p?'pens?ti. Does that "r" become silent? Thanks.

The "r" does not exactly become silent, but it becomes devoiced.
