Someone asked (somewhere else) if this was correct:
"This design conforms perfectly to your body without cutting into your sides or shoulders, yet still provides amazing support."
People said it was correct, but wouldn't "still provides amazing support" have to be able to stand on its own to be correct?
For example:
"This design conforms perfectly to your body without cutting into your sides or shoulders, yet it still provides amazing support."
Thanks
anonymous wouldn't "still provides amazing support" have to be able to stand on its own to be correct? No, though the comma before 'yet' is improper punctuation.
