A question about the word order

Hi!
I have a question about the word order in the following sentence (I mean, is it okay to say it that way):
Horror, drama and comedy movies are equally preferred, thay are watched by 26%, 25% and 24% students accordingly.

Are there any better ways to say the sentence, taking into account that the main idea must stay the same?

Hi, You have incorrectly joined two separate sentences with a comma before 'they' (not thay ). Say 'respectively' instead of 'accordingly'. Clive

Thanks!

'Thay' was just a typo.
